Fiji Development Bank is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Training Officer. This position is based at our Head Office (Suva) and reports directly to Team Leader Talent Development.
Brief summary of duties: Conducts training and assists in the implementation of the Training Plan and ensures that the Bank meets the requirements of FNU in every training delivery. Ensures that the process of Training needs survey is completed yearly. Appraises training needs survey results and compiles the assessment each year. Ensures that the nomination process is completed for every nomination received and ensures that the Bank is aware of training events in the market. Ensures that on-the-job training reports are submitted for any new staff, existing staff and also in line with any structural or operational changes that warrants training or awareness. Prepares and submits reports on in-house workshops, coordinates and arrange logistics in preparation for an in-house training. Ensures the accuracy and validation of information pertaining to a particular training. Ensures that the Bank through its staff training attains satisfactory customer service delivery.
Required Qualification & Experience: Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Studies and/or Management from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Preferably a valid registered Trainer with FNU. Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 and Windows 10. Valid group 2 driving license. Remuneration: $23,562 – $35,640 Term: Three year contract
