The Bank conducts its signature event, the National SME (NSME) Awards annually and serves to recognize the Small & Medium Enterprise sectors in Fiji who against odds, continue to thrive because of the tenacity and determination of its operators.
The NSME Awards has been the Bank’s largest and most impactful media and marketing campaign and has brought in numerous business opportunities for the Bank. The NSME Awards is specially dedicated to being officiated as Chief Guest by the His Excellency, the President of Fiji which is part of the NSME Awards branding and ensures neutrality and inclusiveness for all Fiji.
The NSME Award drives the vision of promoting an inclusive and sustainable approach for growth of the SME sector in Fiji through recognition of successful and sustainable innovative SME’s that set inspirational examples for new and existing entrepreneurs out there.
The NSME Award Categories include
- the Best Agri-Business of the Year,
- the Best Maritime SME of the Year,
- the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year,
- the Youth Entrepreneur of the Year,
- the Best Businessperson of the Year,
- the Best Cooperative SME of the Year,
- the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year,
- the Sustainable SME of the Year, and
- the overall winner of the National SME of the Year. Award
