The Fiji Development Bank (FDB) was honoured to join the Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways this week as a sponsor and part of a panel at the National Youth in Agriculture Symposium 2025, held alongside the post–World Soil Day celebrations at the Grand Pacific Hotel and the Navuso Agriculture Institute.
This year’s theme “A Transformative Journey Towards Sustainable Agri-Entrepreneurship” aligns strongly with FDB’s commitment to empowering young farmers, strengthening community resilience, and promoting sustainable, climate-smart agriculture across Fiji.
As part of the program, an FDB representative delivered his presentation highlighting:
The symposium brought together 90 young farmer representatives from all 14 provinces and Rotuma to celebrate youth contributions, share knowledge, and spark new pathways for agricultural growth.
A warm Vinaka vakalevu to the Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways Fiji, event partners, and especially our vibrant young farmers, your dedication continues to inspire us. FDB remains committed to nurturing Fiji’s next generation of Agri-leaders and supporting sustainable development for all Fijians.
