The government has created many opportunities for Fijians, and the onus is upon everyone to make use of them.
This was stressed by Minster for Women, Mereseini Vuniwaqa as she launched the Fiji Development Bank’s Northern Golden Jubilee on Monday.
“The Fijian Government will continue to provide you with incentives and opportunities to grow but the onus is on you to make that first move.”
This statement follows an initiative that was introduced to waive fees for loans under the Fiji Development Bank.
”As of the September 1st, for a six month period, all applications fees for loans under twenty thousand will be waived , along with the establishment fees of five thousand”.
This is part of the FDB’s contribution to the Government’s vision for development and providing Fijians with opportunities for entrepreneurship at the grassroots levels.
